This step is required to prevent the abuse of our service and ensures only students can access the service.
You can only enter your username once so please make sure you enter it correctly.
Copy a key you will need in preparation for the next step. The key is unique and should not be shared.
Shortcuts on iPhone, iPad, and Mac provide an easy way to trigger Uno to automate your Symptom Survey.
Simply complete a short one time setup by entering your Uno Key when asked.
Yes, the only data we collect is your CAS username and basic Google Account information (such as your email, name, profile picture). We use this information to selectively provide access to our service to students and avoid anyone from abusing the service as each student only has one university-provided google account. So, if abuse is detected, it's easy to remove a misbehaving student from the service so the service as a whole isn't seen as a security threat to the university.
While your password is sent to our servers, it's only forwarded to the CAS login system and is never stored on our servers. The shortcut provides the option to save your password locally on your device where it's stored in the Shortcuts folder alongside a config file it creates during setup. Uno respects existing two-factor authentication systems meaning it would be impossible to do anything with an account password regardless.
Uno does not engage in any kind of data sharing. We only use your data to provide you with the service. We only maintain a record of when a survey is completed to provide anonymized analytics of a total number of surveys completed each day/month as well as a record of any platform violations (such as submission of an invalid password or failure to complete a two factor request) in order to prevent abuse of our services.
Uno speeds up the symptom survey process by running an entirely request-based script that handles logging in and submitting symptom surveys from a cloud context resulting in the entire process being extremely fast. When you run the shortcut, you are first prompted to agree with the Uno agreement in order to maintain compliance with University rules. If you agree, the script sends a request to the Uno server to complete the process. During the process, you will recieve a two factor request to complete the symptom survey. Once complete, you can check your email for the results as you normally would.
As to maintain university compliance the best we can and prevent abuse, Uno requires users to agree to a set of terms which are availble to read on the agreement page.
